This year I had a few items to package for Christmas Gifting. My one daughters requested a gift card from Nespresso. When I purchased this gift card, it was presented in a nice folder, so I needed to figure out how to “wrap” up this folder. I decided to use the beautiful “Traditions of Christmas” DSP and make an envelope. The folder was just under 6×6 size, so I used my retired “Envelope Punch Board” to construct an envelope for this folder.

Chritmas Gifting!

After constructing my envelope, I closed the top flap with a “Mini Glue Dot” so that it would be easy to open. I used some basic red curling ribbon and attached a handmade tag utilizing the “Traditions of Christmas” DSP. Stampin’ Up! offered a coordinating die set for the Oct/Nov/Dec Paper Pumpkin kits. I used the tag shape, flower and leaf spray dies from this set.

My two boxes are from the November 2025 “Wrapped in Cheer” Paper Pumpkin Kit. I made very slight alterations to the design of the tags on the boxes. I used “Wink of Stella” Glitter Pen on the white ribbon to add a subtle shimmer, then stamped the “Merry Christmas” greeting on a die cut shape. For the other box, I colored the white bow with Cherry Cobbler ink and a “Blending Brush”. Two very subtle changes to the actual kit, but I’m very happy with how they turned out. For the inside, I made an insert that held a folded $ bill which made for a nice presentation. You could also make an insert to hold a gift card as well. The “Traditions of Christmas” DSP is not currently available, but I have linked this page to “Designer Series Paper” on the Stampin’ Up! web-site.

Hoping that you shared a wonderful and joyous Christmas holiday with your family and friends! New Year’s is just around the corner, so wishing everyone a Happy New Year for 2026!
