I’ve been working on holiday cards with the “Jolly Holly Bundle” since we returned from our summer travels. Actually, I made this particular card before our last trip. I had shared my first creation with the “Jolly Holly Bundle”, HERE. My next card was fairly simple to pull together with simple stamping and die cuts.

Holly Jolly Bundle!

My color palette for this card are Real Red and Basic Beige. I love that Basic Beige gives an alternative to Basic White or Very Vanilla, but still is a nice neutral. First, I stamped the “poinsettia” image in Real Red on the Basic Beige panel then layered this panel onto a folded Real Red base. Next, I die cut both sizes of the stitched rectangle shapes from this set of dies. The “Joy” was die cut from a piece of “Red Glimmer Paper”.

The final touches for this card were to wrap the layered greeting panel with two strands of “Linen Thread”. I tied the ends of the “Linen Thread” off in a bow. The layered greeting panel is attached with “Dimensionals”. Then, I stamped one “Poinsettia” image in Real Red on Real Red card stock and the second one was stamped on Basic Beige. Next, I die cut both “Poinsettias” and layered them together with the petals off-set. Lastly, I added “Wink of Stella” to the Basic Beige “Poinsettia” and a small dot of “Red Glimmer Paper” for the center. The layered “Poinsettia” is attached with “Mini Glue Dots”. I absolutely love how this card turned out, it is very striking IRL!
