I have one last card to share made with the “Jolly Holly” Bundle. This was actually one of the card projects we made in September with my Maryland eastern shore group. Periodically, we venture back to Maryland for a pet sit with a lovely Labradoodle in Annapolis. When visiting back east, I always try to plan a stamping get together with my eastern shore stampers.
My color palette for this simple card is Real Red, Garden Green and Whisper White. I did add two die cut “holly clusters” cut from Soft Sea Foam, and then added Garden Green ink with a “Blending Brush”. Just a reminder that this great “Jolly Holly Bundle” of products is found in the On-Line Exclusives, not in the September-December Mini Catalog.
Just a bit of layering and some “Dimensionals” under the greeting panel and holly clusters, make this an easy card to reproduce. My first card using this layout did not have any ribbon and I felt it was definitely missing something. Once I added the “Real Red Shiny Ribbon” found in the current Mini Catalog, it sure made the card pop! For a bit more detail, I added the “Real Red & White Adhesive-Backed Peppermints” also found in the On-Line Exclusives. The final touch was to color the holly berries and add “Wink of Stella” to make them shimmer!
