I recently took a few minutes to stamp with the “Scalloped Wishes” Bundle again. Since my two previous cards utilized the die cut flowers and intricate border in this bundle, I wanted a more “earthy” card this time around. HERE and HERE are my two previous posts with this great bundle.

Scalloped WIshes Bundle, One Last Time!

For this card, I chose Crumb Cake, Pecan Pie and Basic White for my color palette. I seleced a strip of DSP from the “Country Woods” DSP pack with a wood grain pattern. The greeting was stamped in Pecan Pie ink and punched out with a retired “Oval” punch. I did stamp the dotted border in Pecan Pie ink on Pecan Pie card stock and then die cut the scalloped shape. Since the white edge on the oval greeting was a bit stark, I used a “Sponge Dauber” to add some Pecan Pie ink along the die cut edge.

The biggest challenge was to ink the cattails with Old Olive ink, remove the ink on the cattail portion and then add Pecan Pie ink to the cattails. I stamped this image on a piece of Crumb Cake card stock so that it would not look to stark with all my earth tones. As many of you know, I love my “Wink of Stella” Glitter Brush. In true fashion, I added “Wink of Stella” to the dragonfly wings. This is such a subtle detail but definitely adds to the card. The finishing touch was to add a small twine bow with a “Mini Glue Dot”. This was truly an easy card with a few simple embellishments. Yay, this bundle is back in stock!
