Christmas Classics Bundle!

Recently I had time to play with the “Christmas Classics Bundle”. What I really like about the stamp set is the variety of “greetings” included in the set. The set of coordinating dies has some great die cuts that fit the different greetings in the stamp set.

I kept this card fairly simple, although I did have to do some paper piecing for the red holly berries. First, I stamped the “pine spray” a few times in Shaded Spruce to help give the focal point some depth. The “holly” die was cut out in Shaded Spruce and then added over the stamped pine images. The same image was die cut in Real Red and trimmed down to the long rectangle. I used the berries from the parts that were trimmed off. First, I added “Wink of Stella” to the red berries. These were then glued to the green berries with “Multipurpose Liquid Glue”.

A Shaded Spruce layer was placed on the long Real Red rectangle. The greeting was stamped in Real Red and then die cut with the smaller rectangle shape. The white card front was mounted to a folded Real Red card base. To complete this card, I added a “Black & White 1/4″ Gingham Ribbon” bow with a “Mini Glue Dot”. Other than the paper piecing for the berries, this was a simple card to create with the “Christmas Classics Bundle”!

Joy of Christmas Suite, Again!

One of the product suites I chose to purchase from the September – December Mini Catalog was the “Joy of Christmas Suite”. I love that I can interchange images and die cuts from both “bundles” to create different card layouts! HERE is my previous creation with this suite of products!

Joy of Noel Bundle

For this particular card, I used a piece of the “Joy of Christmas” DSP in the green plaid as my starting point. I cut the DSP at a slight angle before layering the DSP on to a Basic White rectangle. I believe this is a CASE of a card I saw on “DOstamping’s” blog, with a few slight changes. Honestly, this card couldn’t have been any easier to create! I colored the “foliage” with “Light and Dark Shaded Spruce Blends” along with Real Red Blends”. I added two “leaf” die cuts from the “Christmas Classics Dies” with “Multipurpose Liquid Glue” before adding my greeting.

For the bow, I used a piece of “1/8″ Metallic Woven Ribbon” in Sweet Sorbet. Before tying the bow, I colored the Woven Ribbon with my Real Red Blends. I used the “Banners Pick A Punch” for the flag ends on the greeting panel. The “bow” was attached with a glue dot to the back of the greeting banner. I added “Dimensionals” to the back of the banner before layering on to the card front. One last detail was to add “Wink of Stella Glitter Brush” to the red berries for a subtle shimmer. Truly a super cute and easy card using the “Joy of Christmas Suite”!
