We’ve been busy with hosting Thanksgiving, but I did have time to create a cute card with the two stamp sets in the “Christmas Classics” and “Joy of Noel” Bundles. This was an easy card to create since I relied on the “Joy of Christmas” DSP and a few images from both stamp sets for my focal point. Again, I have used the “fractured card” technique to showcase my DSP and stamp images. HERE is the previous card where I also used the “fractured card” technique.
Honestly, I kept this card super simple with a bit of stamping, die cutting and coloring with Blends. I chose Real Red, White, Old Olive for my color palette. First, I layered a DSP rectangle from the “Joy of Christmas” DSP on to white card stock. I used a stitched square die cut from the “Stylish Shapes” Dies for my focal point. Adding a slightly larger square of Real Red card stock helped to frame my image. The 1/4″ strips of white card stock were added around the perimeter of the focal point and trimmed off. I added this entire panel to the folded card base with “Dimensionals”.
To complete my card, I added “Wink of Stella” Glitter Brush” to the red berries for a soft shimmer. Lastly, I added a small bow of “1/8″ Metallic Woven Ribbon” in Parakeet Party with a “Mini Glue Dot”. For some added interest, I frayed the “tails” of the bow. Truly a super simple and easy card with very pretty results!
I sincerely hope that everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday with family and friends! After black Friday, seems Christmas will be upon us before we know it! Better late than never, but I am just beginning to work on my Christmas cards this week!
