Since I have a few birthdays in the month of April, I decided to use the “Scalloped Wishes” Bundle for a few birthday cards. This is my second card created with this great bundle. My previous post HERE used this bundle to make a beautiful thank you card.
For my color combo, I chose Garden Green, Gorgeous Grape, Basic White and a touch of Soft Seafoam. I created the focal point with a few die cut images from the die set. The Garden Green striped paper is a print from the “Nests of Winter” DSP pack. I did choose a greeting from a retired set and stamped it in Gorgeous Grape. The flower centers are small circle die cuts from the “Pastel Shimmer Paper” that I texturized with a retired embossing folder. I attached the flower centers with a rolled up “Mini Glue Dot”.
One of my finishing touches, was to add “Wink of Stellla” Glitter Pen to the flowers. Next, I used a “Mini Glue Dot” to attach a purple twine bow (from my twine stash). I really like how the Basic White detailed lace trim die adds a nice crisp but delicate feel to this card. Basically, this was an easy card with the die cuts and DSP pulling the card together.
This was my first attempt at playing with the “Scalloped Wishes” Bundle. To me, the stamp and die bundle have a soft and delicate appearance. For this reason, I chose to pair the “Scalloped Wishes” Bundle with the “Beautiful Pattern” Embossing Folder. The “Beautiful Pattern” Embossing Folder is part of the OnLine Exclusives.
For this card, I chose Basic White, Fresh Freesia and Petunia Pop along with a touch of Old Olive for my color combo. Yes, my flower centers are Lemon Lolly Shimmer Paper from the “Pastels Shimmer Specialty Paper”. The Shimmer Specialty Paper offers three colors, Bubble Bath, Pool Party and Lemon Lolly. This paper is so pretty IRL! The Fresh Freesia layer was embossed with the “Beautiful Pattern”Embossing Folder and I truly love this embossing folder.
Just a bit of layering, “Liquid Glue” and “Mini Glue Dots” bring this card together. I did use a piece of Petunia Pop ribbon from my stash to help complete my card. The stamped oval image, dies and embossing folder did the heavy lifting for this card. One detail that is difficult to capture in a photo is the subtle shimmer on the Fresh Freesia Flowers.
Absolutely love my “Wink of Stella” Glitter Pen, I use it on almost every card I create and it’s probably my most go to embellishment staple! Honestly, this card was simple, easy and Oh So Pretty! A friendly reminder that Petunia Pop is a 2024-2026 In Color and will be retiring with the next catalog.
I just checked and the “Scalloped Wishes” Bundle is currently unavailable. The “Dies” should be back in stock the week of March 23 which is less than 2 weeks away. Happy Shopping!
I designed a really cute card with the “Friendly Foliage” Bundle for recent customer Thank you cards. I’m absolutely loving this great bundle and it is so easy to work with. My favorite part of the bundle are the two dies that cut out either the inside of the stamped leaf spray or the perimeter of this stamped image. HERE is my previous post using this bundle.
For this card, I chose a landscape orientation with Very Vanilla and Old Olive as my color combo. I chose to only cut out the inside portion of the leaf spray so that the Old Olive would show through for a nice contrast. To give this card even more depth, the Very Vanilla panel was raised up with “Dimensionals”. My greeting was die cut with the smallest die from the “Everyday Arches” Dies and placed on the card front with “Dimensionals”. The stamped horizontal leaf spray is an image found in the “Friendly Foliage” Bundle.
To complete my card, I added a double stranded bow in Old Olive Twine with a “Mini Glue Dot”. I absolutely love that this was such a super cute and very easy card to make. Basically, I like “quick and easy” and this great bundle is priced below $40!
