As I continue to play with items from the NEW Catalog, I paired the “Exciting Times” Bundle with NEW “In Colors”! Each year when the NEW “In Colors” debut, I challenge myself to come up with a card design that features all five (5) of the NEW “In Colors”. As I’ve stated previously, I really like the NEW “In Colors”. HERE is my first post talking about the NEW “In Colors”. Very excited that my new ink pads in the NEW “In Colors” have arrived! So far, I am loving the design of these magnetic ink pads.
My folded card base is Basic White with a layer of Peaceful Pine and Barely Blush. Between the three (3) horizontal strips of card stock and the frame layering, I was able to incorporate the other remaining NEW “In Colors”. The greeting and frame image are from the “Exciting Times” stamp set. This set also has a coordinating punch that yields a rectangle with rounded edges. For some reason, I really like the simplicity of this “Exciting Times” bundle and I’m anxious to find more time to play around with the stamp images and punch.
To complete my card, I used two of the 2026-2028 “In Color Dots” in Barely Blush to add a bit of shine and interest. Lastly, I tied a knotted bow with the new “3/8″ Bordered Ribbon” in Peaceful Pine and attached with a “Mini Glue Dot”. This card was rather simple and I like how the NEW “In Colors” play well together.
