I thought I had already posted about the “Nested Friends” Bundle and I realized that this “Bundle” will NOT roll over into the NEW Annual Catalog. So, once the current January – April Mini Catalog expires, this bundle will not be available. I had created two different cards with this fabulous bundle, shown below.
Nested Friends Bundle!Second Nested Friends Card
The first card uses the “Radiating Stitches” Dies found in the Online Exclusives and are currently listed as “unavailable”, but these dies will be back in stock in May. I had also incorporated the “Stitched Rectangles” Dies for the focal panel on this card. Sadly, these dies are retiring!
The second card uses the fabulous two-piece “Nest” dies from the “Nested Friends” Bundle. I also used a piece of Balmy Blue“Country Gingham” DSP from the current January – April Mini, which will also retire. The lower die cut edge is one of the dies from the “Elegant Border” Dies, another Online Exclusive offering.
I used the “cluster of dots” stamp in this set to add the “speckles” to the bird eggs. Both of these cards were fun and easy to make! Don’t miss your opportunity to grab some of these great products before they are retired on May 1st!
This week’s card features the “Around the Bend” Bundle along with images from the “Easter Bunny” Bundle. The “Around The Bend” Bundle will roll in to the next Annual Catalog, but the “Bundle” price will go away. Last week, I showed a very cute card using the “Easter Bunny” bundle, HERE. Unfortunately, the “Easter Bunny” Punch is not currently available, but should return to inventory in mid May. This week’s card uses the great “Corner leaf” and several “Flower” Dies from the “Around the Bend” Bundle.
I chose Basic White, Blushing Bride, Pear Pizazz and Crumb Cake for my color palette. After stamping the bunny in Soft Suede on the Crumb Cake and “punching” out the image, I added light shading to the bunny with “Watercolor Pencils”. The grass image was stamped several times across the bottom edge of the white card stock and then I applied some additional Pear Pizazz ink with a “Blending Brush” to the grass. I then added this panel to a folded Blushing Bride card base.
Once I attached the die cut “corner leaf image, I added white die cut flowers on “Glue Dots” and the center flower on a “Dimensional”. I used the small oval die to cut the flower centers, but also “texturized” them with the “Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder”. For a subtle shimmer, I colored over the flower centers with “Wink of Stella” Glitter Brush”.
I also used a “Blending Brush” on the flower leaves to add more Pear Pizazz ink and make the leaf veining “pop”. To complete the card, I added a small “1/8″ Sweet Sorbet Metallic Woven Ribbon” Bow to the bunny. Super cute card!
Belated Happy Easter and my apologies for not posting this super cute card using the “Easter Bunny” Bundle last weekend. We were traveling the past two weeks and it was quite challenging to find time to post to my blog! It sure feels good to be back home!
I had managed to create several cards for my blog before leaving on our trip. However, finding the time to sit down and write a post was my biggest challenge! On this particular card, I used one of the three “Basic Embossing Folders” on a portion of the “Blushing Bride” card stock. You can find this three pack of embossing folders in the “Online Exclusives”. They are currently not available, but they are due back in stock the week of May 1st. This “Easter Bunny” Bundle will carry over in to the NEW 2023-2024 Annual Catalog, but the “Bundle” discount will go away. This “bundle” is also currently unavailable and due back in stock the week of May 15th.
I kept this card very simple and straight forward. Basically, this is a “CASE” of a card I saw a on another demonstrator’s blog. Unfortunately, I cannot remember the demo’s name or site, my apologies to them. After embossing about 3/4 of the “Blushing Bride” panel, I stamped the “Happy Easter” greeting with “Memento Black Ink”. Then I attached the panel to a “Basic White” layer and then added to the folded “Blushing Bride” card base. Then I added a strip of the “Country Gingham” DSP in “Mint Macaron“. The bunny was stamped, lightly shaded with some gray blends and then “punched” out. After coloring with blends, I “fussy cut” the floral spray and added to the bunny image. To complete the card, I added a small “White Baker’s Twine” bow with a small dot of “Multipurpose Glue”. Such an adorable card!
