Here is another fabulous card made with the Sending Hugs bundle! I went for a more monochromatic look with this card. I attached an adhesive sheet on the back of Thick Basic White card stock before die cutting the “Hugs” die. This die was then layered onto a Stitched Rectangle die in Highland Heather. For the HUGS letters, I attached a piece of Fresh Freesia In Color Shimmer Vellum (with an adhesive sheet) to a piece of Gorgeous Grape card stock before die cutting. The reason I used Gorgeous Grape was that the Fresh Freesia color has “pink tones” and I wanted it to be closer in color to Highland Heather. I used the “Zig Zag Stitched” die from the Basic Borders dies on the layer of Basic White card stock. The Hand-Penned DSP adds to the floral and vine theme of the card. The “On Your Special Day” greeting was stamped in Gorgeous Grape as the Highland Heather was too soft in color. The stitched rectangle is up on dimensionals and then the knotted bow of Highland Heather 1/2″ Grosgrain Ribbon adds a touch of shimmer and texture.
