Here are two more card samples created from the Butterfly Bijou DSP, which I am sad to report is no longer available as Stampin’ Up! sold out of their inventory! Good news though, you can stamp all six butterflies at once with the Butterfly Brilliance stamp set and then die cut them out all at once with the Brilliant Wings Dies! Add color to these beauties with your choice of medium, Stampin’ Blends, Markers, Watercolor Pencils, Water Painters or Blender Pens and Ink or even the new Blending Brushes from the January – June Mini Catalog! I have one more card to share, so come back in a few days to see this additional sample!

Butterfly Bijou card samples

The largest butterfly card uses Basic White, So Saffron and Basic Black cardstock. The So Saffron layer is textured with the “Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder”. The butterfly is mounted on a “Stitched Shapes” square and has double layered dimensionals under the wings to give them a “lift”. The greeting is from the “Peaceful Moments” stamp set and is mounted on a label created with the “Lovely Labels Pick a Punch”. To finish the card, I added some Bumblebee Gingham Ribbon, Matte Black Dots and a touch of Wink of Stella Glitter Brush on the butterfly wings.

The second card uses a strip of the Butterfly Bijou DSP (recently sold out) on Basic White card stock. The right side of the panel is textured with the “Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder”. This greeting, also from the ‘Peaceful Moments” set is stamped on a “Stitched Rectangles” die and placed on dimensionals. Both butterflies are mounted with dimensionals and I added a bit of glitz with a touch of Wink of Stella on the wings along with a few “Artistry Blooms Sequins”.
