I’ve had several play sessions with this amazing “Country Birdhouse” Bundle and it is truly so much fun to work with! My first card shown HERE, was super simple and used the NEW color Basic Beige. My second card shown HERE, was a “Notecard” sized card and was basically constructed mainly with the “dies” in this bundle. This time around I chose to again piece together my birdhouse with DSP from the “Country Woods” Designer Series Papers. This card is a standard A2 sized card.
The background on this card is a print from the “Country Woods” DSP. As a note, I die cut the “birdhouse” outline and used that piece of heavy white cardstock to build my birdhouse on. Very similar to one of my previous cards, but I chose slightly different colored “trim” pieces for this birdhouse. Also, I placed this birdhouse on the “wrought iron” looking post. Leaves and flowers from this “die” bundle were added for a bit more interest. The bird is placed so that it appears he is “perched” on the small birdhouse post.
Honestly, this card couldn’t have been any simpler, my favorite kind of card! This “Country Birdhouse” Bundle is definitely one of my favorite NEW bundles in the Annual Catalog!
