So much fun as the “Eyelet Blooms” Die meets new products! Recently I was able to use the “Eyelet Bloom” Die along with several other new products. I used the “Phrases & Frames” stamp set and the “Scalloped Wishes” Bundle. I also managed to incorporate two of the NEW “In Colors”, Crisp Cantaloupe and Peaceful Pine on my card design. The “Eyelet Blooms Die” is the April Product of the Month and available for $5 with a qualifying $75 purchase. Absolutely love this “Eyelet Blooms Die”!
Just in case you are wondering what portion of this card is from the “Phrases & Frames” stamp set, it is the “Thinking of You” greeting. The font for this stamp set is very pretty as it combines a block typeface with a script. The most challenging part of this card was cropping the “Eyelet Blooms” die layer making the border relatively even. Part of this die will cut out the petals of the flowers which can leave behind a small void along the edge of the card stock. My color palette was Basic White, Crisp Cantaloupe and Peaceful Pine for this card.
Absolutely loving how the “Scalloped Wishes” dies really complements the “Eyelet Blooms” Die, detailed and dainty! To complete my card, I tied a piece of “White Baker’s Twine” around the Peaceful Pine ribbon. Basicallly, I curled the flower petals of the large and small flower dies. Next I painted them with “Wink of Stella” Glitter Pen. Lastly, a small Golden Glow “In Color” Dot was added to the center. Basicallly, a pretty simple card and the “Eyelet Blooms” Die did most of the work!
