This was my first play session with the “Humble Home Bundle”. This bundle has been in and out of stock, but I believe it is due back in stock the week of December 2nd. I’ve had a very busy month of November with two (2) Vendor events and a Holiday Stamp Camp at my home. Basically for me, with Thanksgiving and my events, November has flown by! I made this card for my display board at all of my events.
You can find the “Humble Home Bundle” in the September – December Mini Catalog on p. 46. Punches are so much fun, especially the one in this particular bundle! I tried to keep this card fairly simple with some embossing, dies and the coordinating punch. My color palette was Real Red, Basic White and a touch of Crumb Cake.
I embossed the Basic White layer with the “Snowflake Sky” Embossing Folder, #162026. This item is currently not available, but should be back in stock soon. After stamping the house and punching it out, I used “Stampin’ Blends” to color. I added “Wink of Stella” to the white scalloped edges on the house and roofline for a subtle shimmer. The Real Red die cut circle is from the “Spotlight on Nature” Dies. The Stitched Circle is either from the “Stitched Shaped” Dies (retired) or possibly one of the “Stylish Shapes” Dies.
“Red & White Baker’s Twine” was added to give this card a bit of detail. I also colored several of the larger embossed snowflakes with “Wink of Stella” on the upper portion of the card. Overall, a fairly simple and cute card!
