New In Colors with Pretty Florals Bundle!

Here’s another card using the “New In Colors” and the “Pretty Florals” Bundle. I really had fun working with the “New In Colors” and the “Pretty Florals” Bundle. For this card I chose Cloud Cover and Secret Sea along with Basic White. A simple layout made this card easy to create!

New In Colors and Pretty Florals Bundle!

I used the same products as my previous card HERE. I also managed to incorporate a piece of the NEW “In Color” DSP. These prints are are super cute and I absolutely love the patterns in this DSP pack! Just like my previous cards, I also used a greeting from the “More Messages” Stamp/Die Bundle.

For some extra interest, I used Secret Sea as my accent color. Before assembling the die cut flowers, I added a bit of Balmy Blue ink towards the base of the flowers with a “Blending Brush”. I chose Balmy Blue since the Cloud Cover ink pad is not available and honestly, it blended wonderfully! The flower stems were die cut from Granny Apple Green card stock and the flowers are mounted on a “Stitched Shapes” Circle. I added two additional circle layers to my focal point before attaching it to my card front. The greeting was placed up on “Dimensionals” with a small strip of Secret Sea underneath. I think my two favorite New “In Colors” are Secret Sea and Strawberry Slush. Although, Timid Tiger does come in a close third!

Continuing to use the “Pretty Florals” Bundle and NEW “In Colors”, I chose Strawberry Slush and Secret Sea for this card. I also managed to incorporate the “More Messages” Bundle with the greeting stamped in Secret Sea, like I did HERE on a previous creation. I really like that Secret Sea is a nice neutral and a much softer version than using Basic Black. Also loving the return of Strawberry Slush!

For this particular card, I also chose a print from the NEW “In Colors” DSP as my main background. Then, I die cut two different sizes of the “Everyday Arches” Dies to layer together. The floral image was stamped on the smaller white arch and then an additional stamped stem and floral bunch was placed on top to add volume and a bit of depth.

To complete this card, I added a die cut sentiment from the “More Messages” Bundle with a strip of Secret Sea card stock layered underneath. For the final touch, I added a double twine bow in Navy with a “Mini Glue Dot”. One detail that is difficult to capture in a photo is the addition of “Wink of Stella” to the flower centers for a subtle shimmer. I truly enjoyed working with the “Pretty Florals” Bundle and NEW “In Colors”! Actually, this is a super cute and very simple card!

NEW In Colors!

I recently held my NEW Catalog Open House and needed to create sample cards with the “NEW In Colors”. The first card I created, utilized all five of the “NEW In Colors”. After that first card, I began working with different color combinations. These cards mainly use the NEW In Colors with Secret Sea being the common theme. As mentioned in my previous post, HERE, I used the “More Messages” stamp and die to cut out numerous greetings.

Pretty Florals and NEW In Colors

My card base is Basic White with a piece of the NEW In Color, Darling Duckling DSP layered on top. I then placed a strip of Secret Sea card stock “embossed” with the “Glass and Gardens Embossing Folder”. The flower was cut out from the DSP (before layering) with the “Pretty Florals Dies”. I added the outline detail for the flower in Darling Duckling card stock to the DSP flower. Then, I mounted the flower onto a stitched circle die cut from the “Stylish Shapes Dies”. I added another circle layer in Darling Duckling before adhering to a die cut from “Spotlight On Nature Dies”. This large circle with an eyelet type border is so pretty!

To complete my card, I added a double twine bow in Navy was added towards the bottom edge of the flower with a “Glue Dot”. Very difficult to capture in a photo, but the flower center has “Wink of Stella” for a subtle shimmer. I added the greeting in Secret Sea to the card front with “Dimensionals”. A pretty easy card with simple layering. Personally, I’ve always liked Navy and Yellow together. The Secret Sea color is darker than Night of Navy, but softer than Basic Black. I will mention however, that to me, Darling Duckling has a slight green under tone, so it is not a bright as Daffodil Delight.
