The Last Chance Product Sale Begins! Just a friendly reminder to everyone that the “Last Chance Product SALE” started April 9th, 2024! Don’t miss out on your opportunity to purchase some of your favorite products at discounted prices up to 60% off!
Many products from the 2023-2024 Annual Catalog and the January-April 2024 Mini Catalog will be retiring! Many of these products will be gone for good. Other products will return in the NEW 2024-2025 Annual Catalog, but the “bundle” price will disappear. If you have your “eye” on a specific bundle, don’t wait for the “bundled” price to go away, purchase before this discount vanishes!
Also, with the continuing economy and rising costs for everything, you will see a few price increases in the NEW 2024-2025 Annual Catalog. If you are needing card stock, envelopes or other consumable items, order them now! This way you can avoid paying an increased price in the new catalog. Don’t miss out on the Last Chance Product Sale!
The NEW Annual Catalog will launch on May 1st! If you are a regular customer of mine, you should receive your NEW Annual Catalog in the mail. Keep your eyes open for your copy to arrive in your mailbox soon!
For this card, I used the “Thoughtful Expressions” Bundle along with the very beautiful “Poetic Expressions” DSP. The “Poetic Expressons” DSP can be found in the January – April Mini Catalog, p. 61. These prints make such beautiful backgrounds! HERE is my previous post showing another card I created with this great bundle.
Not sure which images I like best, the hummingbird or the flowers! All of the images are super easy to color, plus the stamp set includes some nice word greetings. On this card, I chose Moody Mauve, Basic White and shades of greens and browns for the hummingbird. I used several shades of “Blends” to color the flowers and the bird.
On my card, I did place the hummingbird body up on “Dimensionals”, but not under the wings. Seems that I can never capture this in my photos, but after coloring the flower centers with a pale green and yellow, I added “Wink of Stella” for a subtle shimmer. I rolled up a “Mini Glue Dot” and attached a “White Baker’s Twine” bow to my card front. For added interest and to complete this simple card, I added three of the “Purple Fine Shimmer Gems” found in the current Mini, p. 23. I absolutely love how beautiful this card with the “Thoughtful Expressions” Bundle turned out, it is beautiful IRL!
Super busy here as I have been working on “Taxes” and getting our daughter settled here in Texas. Fortunately, I managaed to create another cute card with the “Adoring Hearts” Bundle. I know that “wedding” season is just around the corner and I thought this card would be great for that occasion.
For this card, I used some of the beautiful FREE “Most Adored” DSP from SALE a-bration. One side of this DSP features gold foil designs. As with my previous card HERE, I also used several of the die cut images from the coordinating “Adoring Hearts” Dies.
First, I added a piece of the “Most Adored” DSP to the folded Basic White card base. Using a die from the “Scalloped Contours” Dies, I cut the center focal point from a piece of “Gold Foil Sheet” (AC, p. 127). After die cutting the same shape in Basic White, I trimmed off the scalloped edges. Then I mounted this panel to the “Gold Foil” layer.
It was fun playing with the different die cut hearts and layering them together. The white heart with the detailed “gold” die cut is placed on “Dimensionals”. I placed the gold embossed “Just For You” banner on “Dimensionals” to add even more depth to my card. I also managed to tuck a “White Baker’s Twine” Bow behind the banner. This was truly a super easy card to create. The DSP along with the die cuts did most of the work!
