Hope you are not tiring of seeing samples of this FABULOUS “Irresistible Blooms” Bundle and DSP. I absolutely LOVE this suite of products! You can find the “Irresistible Blooms” Bundle, “Hello, Irresistible” DSP and “Loose Frosted Dots” in the “Online Exclusive” offerings. Sadly, these items are currently unavailable, but Stampin’ Up! has indicated they will be available again in April, yay!
Irresistible Blooms Bundle and Hello, Irresistible DSP
I choose Flirty Flamingo, So Saffron, Soft Sea Foam and Basic White as my color palette. As usual, I let the DSP help me choose the colors. First, I stamped the Flirty Flamingo card base with “Flirty Flamingo speckles” all over the background. Next, I layered a piece of the “Hello, Irresistible” DSP on to a Basic White panel. I used the coordinating “dies” to die cut three flowers from the DSP. Lastly, I stamped the leaves tone on tone with Soft Sea Foam on Soft Sea Foam, then die cut.
I stamped the greeting in Flirty Flamingo and die cut and layered with the “Something Fancy” Dies. Since I neglected to order the “Loose Frosted Dots”, I used the gold sequins from the “Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins” to embellish the flower centers. The ribbon bow was originally “Vanilla” in color, so I used a “Flirty Flamingo Blends” to alter the color.
The NEW Annual Catalog will be arriving soon! Please be aware that Stampin’ Up! has announced a “Color Refresh“ with the introduction of the NEW Annual Catalog. They will be releasing this information on March 29th. Don’t forget, the 2021-2023 “In Colors” will be retiring along with select colors from the “Core Color Families”. Once this information is announced, inventory tends to disappear VERY QUICKLY! I highly recommend you review your supplies such as reinkers, card stock, embellishments, etc. and be ready to order any retiring items that are your favorites!
Today I have another “Irresistible Blooms” sample to share with you. I have said this several times before, but this “Suite” of products is absolutely fantastic! Makes creating cards fun and super easy! HERE is one of my previous cards with this beautiful “Hello, Irresistible” DSP.
Irresistible Blooms Bundle!
For this card, I let the DSP determine my color palette. I chose Soft Succulent, Basic White plus the soft yellows and peach from the die cut flowers in the DSP. Wondering why you can’t find this “Bundle” in your Annual or Mini Catalog, this is a NEW product offering from Stampin’ Up! Three times a year, Stampin’ Up! will be offering “Online Exclusives” and this products “Suite” is part of their first release.
I used the “circular detail die” from the “Irresistible Blooms” Dies to cut out the “circle” image on the card front. Basically, this gives the card a “window” on the front of the card. Completing this card was super simple with two of the die cut DSP “flowers” and three die cut “leaf stems”. In addition, I added a bow of the “Soft Succulent 3/8″ Open Weave Ribbon”. Lastly, the “Flat Adhesive-Backed Peals” finish this beautiful card.
I simply cannot tell you how much fun I am having creating cards with the “Irresistible Blooms” bundle! The DSP has such beautiful colors and makes it super simple to make a card rather quickly. Not found in any of our current catalogs, this fabulous “Suite” of products can be found in the Stampin’ Up! “Online Exclusives”.
Irresistible Blooms Bundle!
I chose to CASE a card from Rachel Tessman of “Stamp Your Art Out”. She had shared how to showcase both sides of this beautiful DSP. I managed to “tweak” a few things from her samples, but the concept is still the same. Firstly, I cut the DSP to 5.5″ in height. Secondly, score along the left edge at 1/2″ and again at 4.75″. I attached the narrow edge of the DSP to the back side of a base card stock that measures 5.5″ x 4-3/16″. Then I folded the DSP along the second score line backwards onto the front of the card.
I used the the “Stitched Scallop” die from the “Penned Flowers” Die set to cut the edge of a narrow white panel. I attached this panel under the edge of DSP that was folded backwards. Using a panel under the “fold” gives the right edge of the card some stiffness. For the greeting, I used one of the “frame” dies from the “Fabulous Frames” Die set. Next, stamp the flower in Petal Pink (stamped off once) and then stamp the “Thank You” over the flower with Flirty Flamingo ink. I mounted the entire greeting panel on dimensionals.
To complete this card, I added a folded piece of “Pale Papaya 3/8″ Open Weave Ribbon” under the greeting. In addition, one card has the Adhesive Backed Milky Dots for a touch of bling. On the other card, I used the “Elegant Faceted Gems” in white. These cards are truly “simple and easy” to make.
