This card is my second creation with the “Country Bouquet” Suite of products found in the January – April 2023 Mini Catalog, p. 8-9. I did not use the coordinating punch for this card, but instead I chose to use the “Country Floral Lane” DSP. The patterns in this package of DSP are absolutely darling! Here is my previous card with this bundle of products.
I used the colors of Balmy Blue, Sweet Sorbet and Basic White for my color palette. I used two small pieces of DSP on this card. The first one I cut a strip of DSP with just the flowers and hearts border. For the second piece, I used the “Stylish Shapes” Dies to cut out the Mint Macaron bicycle. The bicycle was layered on to another square of Sweet Sorbet. I used dimensionals under those pieces and then offset them on to a larger stitched square from the “Stylish Shapes” Dies in Balmy Blue.
Then I stamped the greeting a a pair of hearts in Sweet Sorbet on to the Basic White card stock. These were then layered onto a Sweet Sorbet layer and a folded Balmy Blue base. I then added two gold sequins from the “Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins” to the center of the bicycle tires for some detail. The finishing touch was adding a “White Twine” bow with a glue dot. Super cute and easy card!
Finally I had a few moments to create with the NEW “Country Bouquet” Bundle and I absolutely LOVE this bundle! I was able to incorporate the “Country Floral Lane” DSP on this card as well. The DSP determined the color palette of Basic White, Petal Pink, Sweet Sorbet and a touch of Mint Macaron.
This card sample was actually very simple. I used the “heart” and “leaves” from the coordinating DSP after they were punched out. The double heart was stamped in Petal Pink and punched out with the coordinating “Country Bouquet” Punch. On the “Stitched White Circle”, I stamped two of the “leaf stems” from the stamp set in Mint Macaron. I arranged the “hearts” on the white “Stitched Shapes” circle, then attached them with adhesive. I did place the smallest petal pink heart up on a dimensional. After I stamped the two small sweet sorbet hearts, I then stamped one small single heart on the larger Petal Pink heart. Then I tucked the two punched leaves under the small Petal Pink punched heart.
I stamped the greeting in Sweet Sorbet and die cut with a banner die from the “Stitched Shapes” Dies. I added a “White Bakers Twine” bow to the under side of the banner. Then I attached the banner to the card front with dimensionals. The final element was to add three of the “Iridescent Rhinestones”, one of each size.
The January – June Mini CatalogAND the January – February “SALE a-bration” promotion have begun! As always, I am amazed at the awesome product offerings that Stampin’ Up! has released in this NEW January-June Mini Catalog. Thank goodness I am a demonstrator and receive a discount on the products I purchase! Being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator allows me to “stretch” my crafting dollars on these quality products!
Now let’s talk about the “SALE a-bration” promotion. During this promotion, customers earn FREE products from the “SALE a-bration” brochure for every $50 or $100 US dollars spent. Fortunately, there’s a wide variety of products for customers to select from during this promotion. I can tell you from experience, the “popular” SAB items sometimes sell out fast! Usually when SAB items become “sold out”, Stampin’ Up! will offer additional products for customers to select. For this reason, I would encourage you to place your SAB order SOON so that you don’t miss out on the items you truly want!
Without a doubt, SAB is a fantastic time to join Stampin’ Up! as a demonstrator. During this “SALE a-bration” promotion, Stampin’ Up! is offering three (3) Starter Kit Options! These three (3) options are outlined on p. 18 of the “SALE a-bration” brochure. My personal favorite is Option #3, selecting $175 of Stampin’ Up! products for only $99, that is a phenomenal deal!
Lastly, let’s talk about “Paper Pumpkin”. This is a monthly papercrafting subscription that arrives in your mailbox. Everything is provided in the monthly kit except scissors! These kits are seasonal projects designed by Stamin’ Up!’s in-house artists. During SAB, a three (3) month subscription will earn you a FREE $50 SAB item. The six (6) month subscription earns a FREE $100 SAB item(s) plus saves you $5 in the subscription rate. Want to save even more? Purchase the twelve (12) month subscription, save over $20 on the subscription and earn $200 in FREE SAB item(s). If you ask me, SALE a-bration is the BEST time to purchase a “Paper Pumpkin” Subscription!
Here is another sample using the “Framed Florets” Bundle. I’ve said it before, this “bundle” is fabulous! This card was pretty simple and the “Dies” did most of the work for me!
Framed Florets Bundle!
Currently, I’m designing more samples with the NEW products I have purchased. Check back in a few days to see what I’ve created!
