Framed Florets Bundle, Take 4!

I have had tons of fun with this “Framed Florets” Bundle and the coordinating “Fitting Florets” DSP. This DSP is only available for a limited time and won’t be available when the new January-June Mini Catalog is released on January 5th. I absolutely love all the Blue, Green and Pink color combinations in this DSP. I previously posted a different sample here. This is another of my creations with this bundle and the beautiful coordinating DSP.

Framed Florets Bundle
Framed Florets Bundle and Fitting Florets DSP

Honestly this card was super simple. The card base is Balmy Blue with a layer of DSP from the “Fitting Florets” DSP. I die cut several ovals from the “Framed Florets” Dies in Basic White and Balmy Blue. On the smallest white oval, I stamped the “double flower” cluster in Balmy Blue, but stamped off first. I then stamped the birthday greeting from the “Framed Florets” stamp set in Night of Navy over the light blue flowers.

The final touches for this card were a “White Glittered Organdy Ribbon” bow and a few of the “Glossy Dots” in Pool Party. Basically, I let the DSP determine the color palette and the “Oval Dies” did most of the work for this easy but stunning card!

Mistletoe Magic, Again!

I’ve created several cards with this great “Mistletoe Magic” Bundle. Here is the link for a few of my previous “Mistletoe Magic” cards. For this particular card, I chose to work with the die cuts and lots of them! For my color palette, I chose Basic White, Garden Green and Real Red. I cut the mistletoe stem twice, trimmed one stem apart and layered the pieces together.

Then I cut quite a few of the “berries” in white and colored over them with “Wink of Stella Glitter Brush”. The shimmer is difficult to capture, but it really adds that subtle shimmer to the berries and makes them “pop”. I die cut the “bow” from “Red Glimmer Paper”. The layers began with a “Stitched Rectangle Die” and then another layer cut just a bit larger in Real Red. These two layers were attached to a “Deckle Rectangle” die cut. I stamped “Merry Christmas” from the coordinating stamp set in Real Red. The final two layers were basic white and Real Red.

This card wasn’t difficult, just a little time consuming adding all those white berries! I believe the stamp set is no longer available but the die set is on the “Retiring List” and at a fabulous discounted price!

Celebrate With Tags Bundle, Take 4!

Celebrate With Tags Bundle

I cannot begin to tell you how much fun I have had with the “Celebrate With Tags” Bundle! I have previously posted samples with this bundle which you can see here. Very sad to say, I am not 100% sure, but the dies may no longer be available. This card was designed for a club group back east that I worked with in November and they loved this card!

A Real Red panel was embossed with the Gingham Embossing Folder. The white scalloped rectangle is from the “Scalloped Contours” Dies. To stretch my DSP, I only used a narrow strip to add interest and tie all the colors together for this card. The mittens and the greeting are embellished with a Basic Rhinestone. The bow made from Pool Party Sheer Ribbon completes this super easy card!

I do have another card with this bundle for Valentine’s, and will post it some time after Christmas. Hoping you are almost done with your Christmas preparations. I have been working on my Christmas cards and just mailed the last batch of cards today. Next on my list is some holiday baking and then gift wrapping. I would say “it’s crunch time”!
