Framed Florets Bundle, Take 2!

Framed Florets Bundle

This is my second creation with the “Framed Florets” bundle. I also incorporated the “Fitting Florets” DSP into this card. These products are exceptionally easy to work with when creating! I chose to work with the color palette of Balmy Blue, Soft Succulent, Evening Evergreen and Basic White found in the DSP. Quite different from the colors that I used in my previous card!

I tried to keep this creation relatively simple with basic stamping, layering and a few embellishments to complete the card. I managed to use several of the “Framed Florets” oval dies for the layering along with several other dies from the set. The Balmy Blue layer was trimmed down slightly by fussy cutting away the embossed edge around the outside of the oval. To add additional texture, I embossed the Balmy Blue card stock strip with the “Timber 3D” embossing folder.

The die cut spray in Soft Succulent has “Wink of Stella Glitter Brush” added to the berries for a soft shimmer. The die cut flower and leaf spray were colored with “Stampin’ Blends”. I placed the die cut flower up on a dimensional. A white “Baker’s Twine” bow and a Pool Party “Glossy Dot” add the few simple details to complete this card. I am in LOVE with this collection of products, especially the dies!

Framed Florets Bundle

For this card, I had viewed a similar color scheme and layering of the oval dies from the “Framed Florets Dies” on Claire Daly’s website, a demo in Australia. This was a good starting point for this card, I just changed a few details to make it my own. I used a piece of the DSP with Blushing Bride and White along with Crumb Cake card stock and ink for the colors. The Blushing Bride “Oval Die” was attached with “Mini Glue Dots”. I painted the die cut “heart” from the “Celebrate With Tags” dies with the “Wink of Stella Glitter Brush” . Gives this heart quite the “shimmer”. A double bow with “Baker’s Twine” and three of the “Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels” completed this super simple and stunning card!

Celebrate With Tags, Take 3!

My youngest daughter just had a birthday and I used the “Celebrate With Tags” bundle to create a birthday card for her. On the inside of the card, I used the larger “tag” die from the bundle to create a pull up pocket for a gift card. Here’s a picture of the inside and outside of this super cute card! Keep in mind my daughter loves Black, White and Gold.

Since my daughter loves “Black and White”, I did use some retired DSP from my “stash”. The gold cord, ribbon and gold foil layer behind the die cut candles allowed me to incorporate some “gold” touches. I had used the “candle” die cuts from “Celebrate With Tags” on a previous card here. I used “Stampin’ Blends” on the candle flames and then added “Wink of Stella Glitter Brush” for a soft shimmer to the flames. The white “tag” has a black layer which used the die that cuts random holes in your paper.

On the inside, I used the “pocket” die, wrapped with a strip of DSP. Then I threaded some retired Black/White Baker’s twine through the two holes. A gift card was pushed down into the pocket and the baker’s twine was knotted and tied with a bow. To reveal the gift card, just pull upwards on the “bow”. So cute and my daughter loved her birthday card!
