This is my second creation with the “Celebrate With Tags” bundle. I’m really loving the coordinating dies for this stamp set! I have several ideas for more cards using this bundle, I just need more time to play and create!
I am preparing items to sell for an upcoming Christmas Extravaganza in December at the local elementary school. I’m up to my ears with candy treats and gift card holders! This will be my first craft fair and I’m hoping to get my name out in the community and connect with some local crafters!
Celebrate With Tags
For this card I chose Sweet Sorbet, Tahitian Tide and Basic White with a touch of Mango Melody. This birthday card is fairly simple to create. The most challenging part was creating the “frame” with the “Stitched Rectangle” dies. The frame is up on dimensionals along with the Tahitian Tide balloon. I made a small bow of white baker’s twine and attached to the balloon strings. I did add a touch of “Wink of Stella Glitter Brush” on the white spots on all of the balloons which adds a touch of “shimmer”. The focal point is mounted on a basic white “Deckled Rectangle” layer. I used the small dotted image from this set to randomly stamp the Sweet Sorbet background layer. Lately, for some reason, I am gravitating towards the brighter colors and I love the “happy” vibe!
Stampin’ Up! hosted a FREE virtual event today for World Card Making Day! About 30 minutes before the event started, I decided to create a super simple card for this event. This is my first creation with the fabulous “Celebrate With Tags” bundle. There will be more samples to come with this bundle for sure!
Celebrate With Tags Bundle
When I saw the “Celebrate With Tags” Bundle in the July – December Mini Catalog p. 67, I loved that it included several images for various occasions. Then I realized how spectacular the dies are that coordinate with this stamp set! I wanted this birthday card to be neither masculine or feminine, basically just bright and cheery! The NEW “In Colors” work so well together, so I chose to use the 2022-2024 “In Color DSP”. The base of this card is in Parakeet Party and also includes the other “In Colors”, Sweet Sorbet, Tahitian Tide, Orchid Oasis and Starry Sky.
I die cut five of the two different candle designs, one in each of the NEW “In Colors”. I used the “Wink of Stella Glitter Brush” on the candle flames to add a soft shimmer. To finish the card, I added some of the 1/8″ Metallic Woven Ribbon where to two pieces of DSP met. I then added a double bow of the Metallic Woven Ribbon also in Orchid Oasis. A very simple, cute and cheery card for a birthday!

I chose to work with the awesome “Perched In A Tree” Bundle, again! A very similar card was seen on-line, but I do not know the creator to give them credit. I did manage to change a few details to make it more my own. I chose Starry Sky, Orchid Oasis, Silver Foil and Basic White for this card. A piece of the Silver “Dotted” DSP from the previous “SALE a-bration” promotion was used. This DSP was colored with a “Blending Brush” in Orchid Oasis on the lower half and then Starry Sky on the upper half. The cool thing about this technique is that the silver foil dots resist the ink so they still have a really pretty shine to them!
I used the “splatter” image to stamp dots on the tree trunk and branches with Gray Granite ink, stamped off. The large oval die cut was then layered over the DSP. I think it looks like an evening sky after the sun goes down.
The greeting was stamped in Starry Sky and die cut with the “stitched label” die from “Potted Succulents” dies just like my previous card post. This die is one of my favorite “go to” dies! Not only a great size for many greetings, but the stitching and elegant shape add very nice detail to any card! I draped a piece of the “1/8″ Metallic Woven Ribbon” in Starry Sky on the back of the greeting label. The greeting was placed on “dimensionals”. The three die cut leaves in Starry Sky, Orchid Oasis and Silver foil were added to the card. A very simple but quite stunning card!
