Cottage Wreaths Bundle!

Since we will be celebrating Thanksgiving in four days, I decided it was time to ink up my “Cottage Wreaths” stamp set. We have just returned to central Texas from a GREAT trip back east. I was very fortunate to visit with family and many friends, some of which I had not seen in 20 years! I am feeling very grateful as my card expresses and blessed to have reconnected with old friends that never left my heart!

Today’s card was really super simple and features some nice texture. My inspiration came from a card by Amy Koenders at “Stamp With Amy K” a fellow Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator. By changing a few basics I created a very similar but slightly different card. I chose the colors of Pumpkin Pie, Crumb Cake, So Saffron, and Cajun Craze for this card. I inked the “Cottage Wreath” stamp was with So Saffron and then added touches of Pumpkin Pie and Cajun Craze ink with a sponge dauber. The “Cottage Wreaths” set is a “Distinktive” stamp set and stamps beautifully! I stamped the circle twig image with Soft Suede, but stamped off first.

I embossed a Basic White panel with the “Brick & Mortar 3D” Embossing Folder. Blending just a bit of Crumb Cake ink on to this panel with a blending brush makes the “bricks” pop off the white panel. I layered the embossed panel on to a Crumb Cake layer. Honestly, I now wish I had used Soft Suede instead! I then added the die cut wreath image with dimensionals to this layer.

I stamped the greeting in Soft Suede, stamped off for a lighter shade. Then I die cut the words with a banner die from the “Cracker & Treat Box” Dies. The greeting was placed on a stitched banner from the “Stylish Shapes” dies. I tucked the left side of this double banner under the wreath. Frequently I will use “Stampin’ Blends” to color white ribbon to coordinate with my card. I used the Pumpkin Pie Blends to change the White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon to Pumpkin Pie. Then I tied a double bow and attached it to the wreath with a glue dot. Finally, the “Rustic Metallic Ahesive-Backed Dots” added the last touch to complete this simple card.

Framed Florets Bundle, Take 3!

Framed Florets Bundle!

This is my third creation with the “Framed Florets Bundle”. To make this super simple card, I used the fabulous “Fitting Florets” DSP and the oval dies from the “Framed Florets Dies“. Just as my previous card here, I used the colors featured in the DSP print. How beautiful is the color palette of Blushing Bride, Polished Pink, Balmy Blue and Basic White? I layered the DSP on Polished Pink card stock to create a small border around the edges. As a result, the DSP panel mounted on a Blushing Bride folded layer really “pops” off of the card.

I used the “center oval” die cut from the larger detailed oval frame from the “Framed Florets Dies”. The greeting was stamped towards the top in Balmy Blue on this white oval. For another “pop” of detail, I layered the “etched edge oval” die cut in Polished Pink on top. I then die cut one of the “double blooms” from the DSP. It’s great that this “double blooms” image has a coordinating die! The die cut DSP “blooms” are placed up on dimensionals.

To complete my card, I tied a double bow using the white “Crinkle Seam Binding Ribbon” and attached with a glue dot. Occasionally, I like to have just a little touch of “bling” on my cards. The “Iridescent Rhinestone Jewels” do just that. Super simple and very pretty card! Order this collection of products today to create your own beautiful cards!
