This is my third creation using the “Mistletoe Magic” Bundle. For this card, I chose Pear Pizzaz, Soft Sea Foam and Whisper White for my colors. I really like the “softness” that these particular colors give this card. My folded base layer is Pear Pizzaz. By stamping the Sea Foam layer randomly with the “mistletoe spray” in Pear Pizzaz ink it created the perfect background! I then added a panel of Whisper White to give the Soft Sea Foam panel a narrow white border.
After stamping the Pear Pizzaz layer, I used a “stitched square” die from the “Stylish Shapes” die set. The “square” was turned on its side to create the “diamond” shaped window. I stamped the “mistletoe spray” with Black Memento ink and then colored with Stampin’ Blends. I used the “splatter” stamp from the “Perched In A Tree” stamp set, stamped off with Pear Pizzaz ink inside the “window” area. Then I added the die cut “spray” with “Mini Glue Dots”.
Pear Pizzaz ink was used for the greeting and die cut with a “stitched label” die from the “Potted Succulents” die set. Before I added the “Iridescent Rhinestones” to the greeting label, I colored them with the dark Soft Sea Foam “Stampin’ Blends” to shade them a light green. I attached the greeting label to the card with “Dimensionals”.
A bow of “White Crinkled Seam Binding” was colored with the Light Mossy Meadow Blends and added to the “mistletoe spray”. I have said this before, this is my go to ribbon. Just add “color” with a “Stampin’ Blend” to make it coordinate with my card! To finish my card, I colored the die cut “berries” with the “Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush” to add a subtle shimmer!
This is my second creation with the bundle “Mistletoe Magic”, so Take 2! For this card I chose Real Red, Old Olive, Garden Green and Whisper White. I have been trying to incorporate different die cuts and stamped images from this set each time I work with the bundle. On my previous card, I used different stamps and dies from this bundle.
Along with the bundle dies, I used a stitched square die from the “Stylish Shapes” dies. By adding two additional layers, this became the focal point for this card. I stamped the small mistletoe sprig on the square and colored with “Stampin’ Blends”. Then, I stamped, die cut and colored two additional mistletoe sprigs. I cut a few of the pine sprays and one small branch with berries. These pieces were then all layered on to the stitched square die.
A piece of “Painted Christmas DSP” was added to a whisper white panel and then attached to a folded Real Red card base. This beautiful DSP is a “returning favorite” product from last year and found on p. 29 of the July – December Mini catalog. The focal point was then attached with dimensionals. To complete the focal point, I added a Real Red bow and three (3) Iridescent Rhinestones for accents. The mistletoe berries and small red berries on the spring die have a touch of “Wink of Stella Glitter Brush” to make them shimmer. A very simple but pretty card!
