This is my second card using the “He’s All That” bundle. My previous card used this same bundle but focused on the colors in the “He’s the Man” DSP. Again I used Sahara Sand and Early Espresso for this card and kept it more along a monochromatic color scheme.. For texture, I used the “Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder. The two die cuts are from the “All That” Dies that coordinate with the “He’s All That” stamp set. What is awesome about these dies is that they add a raised/embossed edge to several of the shapes in this set of dies! To finish this card, I took the “Black and White Gingham Ribbon” and colored the white part with my “Light Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends” and then added three of the “Matte Black Dots”. Using the “He’s All That” bundle made it easy to create a super simple masculine card!
Here’s my first creation with the He’s All That Bundle. I made this card for my hubby’s birthday the end of May. We’ve had a busy past two weeks as we traveled back to the east coast. We spent a week at the beach in Fenwick, DE with Chris’s family. Since rental cars were priced so crazy, we decided to drive. Just returned yesterday and I’m up to my ears in laundry today!
Decided to post this birthday card today since it would have been my Dad’s 92nd birthday. Sadly he passed the end of 2018. The “He’s The Man” DSP reminds me of my dad since many of the images are of the outdoors and cars (he was such a car enthusiast!). At first glance, the DSP is printed so it appears to have “texture”. I used Sahara Sand and Early Espresso colors to coordinate with the DSP. I stamped the image and then ran it through the die cut and emboss machines. This particular die adds an embossed edge to the cut out shape. To finish the card, I added a knotted bow of Early Espresso Faux Suede Trim and a few of the NEW Rustic Metallic Adhesive Dots. The He’s All That Bundle makes creating masculine cards super easy!
This is my third creation with the Sending Smiles Bundle. This bundle has some terrific images and die cuts! For this card, I also utilized the Split Card Textures Dies and the a piece of retired DSP under the cut out area. I used an adhesive sheet on the Melon Mambo card stock before die cutting the “Sending” word. This was then adhered to a Vellum shadow layer. The colors used on this card besides Melon Mambo are Mango Melody and Parakeet Party (a new “In Color”). The two small flowers are popped up on dimensionals. The finishing touches on this card are three of the Brushed Brass Butterflies and a touch of Wink of Stella Glitter Brush on the flower centers. Thanks to the Split Card Texture Dies, this is a pretty simple and stunning card to create!
