Sending Hugs!

Sending Hugs card sample
Sending Hugs your way!

I couldn’t resist purchasing this super cute “Sending Hugs” bundle. For this card, I stamped the main image in black memento ink and colored with Stampin’ Blends. I managed to use four of the NEW In Colors! The lower edge was die cut with the “Basic Borders” dies to create the curved stitched edge. The white panel was then mounted on a Pale Papaya base accented with a coordinating Open Weave Ribbon in Pale Papaya. The HUGS letters were die cut in Pale Papaya, attached, and then I added “Wink of Stella Glitter Brush” for some extra shimmer. I tried to capture the shimmer in this up close photo. Simplistic, but looks stunning in real life! Check back in a few days for another sample using this awesome bundle.

Love the Shimmer the Wink of Stella Glitter brush adds!

Quiet Meadows, Take 3!

Quiet Meadows and Dies

Here is yet another really pretty card using the Quiet Meadows stamp set (words) and the Meadows dies. After die cutting several images, blending brushes were used to add extra color to the die cuts. All of the die cut flowers and foliage were placed on one of the Ornate Layers dies and trimmed down to fit the card placed horizontally. The main floral image was from the original (first) card I posted. I took the die cut image in white CS and colored with Stampin’ Blends, added a touch of Wink of Stella Glitter brush to the flower petals and also Pale Papaya In Color Jewels for the flower centers. The greeting was stamped on a “tag” from the “Tailor Made Tags” dies and placed on dimensionals with another Pale Papaya In Color Jewel. A bow made with the White Crinkled Seam Binding colored with the Fresh Freesia Stampin’ Blends completes the project! Here’s a closer look at the floral cluster on this card, it really is quite pretty!

Quiet Meadows!

Here is another card featuring the “Quiet Meadows” stamp set. The DSP pattern is from the “Bloom Where You’re Planted” pack. The main floral image was stamped on a die cut from the “Stitched Rectangles” and then colored with Stampin’ Blends. The greeting was stamped on the rectangle stitched die with lacey end borders (from the coordinating Meadow dies), trimmed down and then mounted on the same die cut in Gray Granite. The flower centers are colored with the Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends. A touch of shimmer was added with the Wink of Stella Glitter Brush. I wasn’t able to capture the shimmer in my photo, but it really is pretty! To complete the project, don’t forget the white twine bow tucked under the greeting. I really like how the Poppy Parade color makes things pop, such a cute card!
