Recently I had time to play with the “Paradise Garden” Bundle. You can find this great bundle in the OnLine Exclusives. The colors in the coordinating “Garden Party” Designer Series Paper are absolutely fabulous! This great bundle includes a hybrid embossing folder along with several coordinating die shapes. I have a few additional cards I will share in the coming weeks that feature some of the other beautiful colors in this Designer Series Paper.
For this card, I chose to work with Basic White and Shaded Spruce. I attached the embossed panel to a Basic White layer along with a coordinating DSP print. The leaf spray was stamped off with Shaded Spruce to give me a lighter version of the leaves. Next, I die cut the leaf spray and attached it to the card front with “Mini Glue Dots”.
For my greeting, I stamped the “Wishing you a lovely day” in Shaded Spruce and die cut with the hexagon shape. I trimmed down this shape along the raised border and then mounted it to the same die cut shape in Shaded Spruce. I attached the greeting to my card front with “Dimensionals”.
To complete my card, I added a double strand “White Baker’s Twine” Bow with a rolled up “Mini Glue Dot”. The last detail was to add a few “White Adhesive Backed Sequins” from my stash. Very difficult to capture in a photo, but I did add a bit of “Wink of Stella” Glitter Pen to the highlight areas on the leaves. Simple and easy, just my style!
