Recently I had posted a card sample with the “Exciting Times” Bundle. In my previous post HERE, I was able to incorporate all five of the NEW “In Colors” in my card. My next card with this “Exciting Times” Bundle, I chose a vertical orientation and used two of the NEW “In Colors”. One thing I realized is that these NEW “In Colors” play very well with each other along with our core color collection.

For my card sample, I chose Barely Blush, Crisp Cantaloupe and Basic White for my color palette. A few layers and a strip of “Bloom Boutique” Designer Series Paper for the foundation of my card. Then, I stamped the frame from the “Exciting Times” Bundle with Crisp Cantaloupe on a piece of Barely Blush card stock. Next, I punched out the center rectangle with the coordinating punch. I stamped the radiating lines image in Barely Blush on a piece of Basic White card stock. I stamped this twice, as it is a very light color. The greeting was stamped in Crisp Cantaloupe and these two pieces were layered together with double “Mini Glue Dots”. For the top of this “tag”, I used two punches to create the shape for the top.

To complete my card, I added a few light colored sequins from my stash. Lastly, I added a piece of the “NEW 3/8″ Bordered Ribbon” in Barely Blush and tied it off with a piece of “White Baker’s Twine”. I added the greeting panel to my card front with some “Dimensionals”. I love the soft colors used for this super easy and cute card!
