For my new catalog Open House, I created several card samples with the “Phrases & Frames” Bundle. This particular card was actually my free make-n-take card project for my Open House. I allowed customers to choose a greeting and their mat layer color along with their embossed frame color. HERE was my previous post with the “Phrases & Frames” Bundle.
For my card, I also included the beautiful “Bloom Boutique” Designer Series Paper and a great new embossing folder, “Paradise Garden” Hybrid Folder. The “Paradise Garden” Embossing Folder is featured in the OnLine Exclusives. This folder is unique that when used with the coordinating die, will cut portions of the leaves in the background. This allows you to lift the leaves and tuck a panel under or lift them with a “Dimensional” for additional texture. For my Designer Series Paper print, I chose a pattern that incorporated ALL of the NEW “In Colors”. I wanted my customers to see these beautiful NEW “In Colors”.
My greeting is from the “Phrases & Frames” Bundle and stamped on the inside of the frame die cut out which is oval in shape. Everyone had fun learning how to use the new impressions dies along with the “Impressions Plate”, which to me is a more flexible layer than the name implies. We backed our greeting with a retired Scalloped Oval Die from my stash. The addition of a knotted bow in the “3/8″ Bordered Ribbon” and a few “In Color” Dots completed the card. I believe that everyone enjoyed playing with these new products and selecting their own color combination.
I will note that we used “Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals” in the corners of the embossed frame. The straighter parts of the frame were supported with “Foam Adhesive Strips”. I did offer several greeting options so that everyone could customize their card. Honestly, all of the cards turned out pretty darn cute!
