Recently I had an opportunity to use the “Eyelet Blooms” Die again to create a beautiful wedding card. The “Eyelet Blooms” Die was a recent “Product of the Month” item, I believe for either March or April. I decided to post this card so that customers would be aware that the “Product of the Month” items are only available while quantities last. I am sad to report that this item is no longer available. Super glad I snagged this cute detailed die before it disappeared! HERE was my previous card using this great die!
I chose a more neutral color palette of Crumb Cake, Basic White and Basic Beige for this card. After die cutting the “Eyelet Blooms” Die I layered it on to a piece of Crumb Cake card stock. The flowers and leaves are from the retired stamp set, “Happiness Abounds”. I chose to stamp the leaves on Basic Beige with second generation stamping in Crumb Cake. Adding “Wink of Stella” Glitter Pen to both the flower and leaf images gives them such a beautiful soft shimmer.
I find it challenging to create a card without adding a touch of ribbon or twine. So, I elected to wrap a single strand of “Linen Thread” corner to corner and tied it off in a bow. I did raise the top flower up with “Dimensionals. My greeting stamped in Crumb Cake, came from another retired set, “Peaceful Moments“, one of my all time favorite greeting sets! I absolutely love how beautiful this card looks IRL!
