Still playing with my newest products, “Exciting Times” Bundle & “Blooms Boutique” DSP. I absolutely love the simplicity of this great stamp set and punch bundle. HERE was my previous post using the new “Exciting Times” Bundle.
For my color palette, I chose one of the NEW “In Colors”, Golden Glow, along with Basic White. The “Bloom Boutique” Specialty DSP has beautiful gold foil highlights on one side of each of the six designs. The “B” side of the DSP is more subtle and features the NEW “In Colors”.
I heat embossed the frame from the “Exciting Times” Bundle with “Gold Embossing Powder” for an additional subtle gold shine. Next, I punched out the center with the coordinating punch. I trimmed down the frame shape and used a small hole punch for the inverted rounded corners. The greeting was also heat embossed with “Gold Embossing Powder”. I stamped off the radiating lines with Golden Glow to soften the image a bit. Next, I layered this panel under the frame shape. Layering a piece of the DSP (after punching out the rectangle shape) with Basic White helped the DSP to stand out from the Golden Glow folded card base.
For embellishments, I chose to only add a bow of 1/4″ White Satin Ribbon from my stash with a “Mini Glue Dot”. Honestly, this was enough as I did not want to take away from the beautiful “Bloom Boutique” Specialty DSP. This was a relatively easy card to create and truly looks beautiful IRL!
